French wall mirror in Louis XIV style, the famous French sovereign of the 17th century. This small mirror in the French baroque style is carton-pierre (Pulped paper and glue invented in 19th century as a substitute for stucco.) ornamented with shells, garlands with small flowers and raie-de-coeur. A rare wall mirror, by its manufacturing technique, and exceptionally French by the style.
